All bloggers usually come across long blog posts to be published in their blogs. It’s good that you are giving detailed information on topic with your huge blog post.
But have you ever thought what impression it makes on your visitors? They have a lot of things to read but with no interest. Don’t make your visitors scared by showing them a long post in a single page, they may end up reading your post just once they scroll through out the length of your post. I have got a better solution for you, just think of splitting your long post into multiple pages.

Let’s move further and know how you can easily split up your post into multiple pages. In this tutorial I am using a popular theme for bloggers developed by InkThemes.
I am using ‘ BlogsTrend’ WordPress theme for my tutorial and I also use this for my blog. You can also implement this with any WordPress themes that you use. I have tested this with almost all themes by InkThemesand it works well. So, after reading this you will easily able to create split pages for a long WordPress blog.

First of all, Login to your WordPress admin panel and go to theme editor from “Appearance” tab in dashboard.
Click on the
Editor.
In theme editor screen look at the right side and there you will find all the theme files listed look for “ single.php ” (single post). Once you locate the file click on it and it will open in editor where you can edit the code.
Here you have to locate the exact section which represents end of your post in your webpage. Once you find the code, just after that paste:
Note: If already exists in your theme file then leave this step and move further by reading below.
Now simply go to new post, put your WHOLE content in editor now ‘SWITCH TO HTML EDITOR’ and paste from where you want your content to be shown in next page.
Note: You can break your post into any number of pages by putting on appropriate places.
You are done :). Your Post will now look like this:
