There is a WordPress shane-web-guy-portfolio Plugin that allows you to demonstrate your work on your website portfolio through a single page on your wordpress blog with automatically generated thumbnails, and customized Portfolio created with custom posts with quicksand integration and custom javascript. category thumbnails are 150×180, post featured images are set to 150x180px ratio or 1000x1213px. Use this ratio to preserve image aspect.

Open your WordPress admin panel click on Plugin menu & then hit the Add New option & now click Upload, browse the zip file & install it.

Now click on the SWGP Categories option inside SWGP Portfolio at your left-hand side and create the categories according to the image topics like Categories: Nature, Fish, City etc, inside Nature category we will put images based on nature and in City category we will put the images related to the cities and so on.

Now click on Add New option here you have to insert the images by clicking Upload/Insert option as featured image, every time you have to click on Add New option to insert new image and remember to click the appropriate category for the image and hit update button.

Now click on the SWGP Option here you have to set the image icons category-wise, just copy the images Urls from your WordPress Media Library and past the Urls here and update it.

Here you need to put Display image which will appear by default in big size and it should be 250×303 px, just copy the image Url and past it here.

Now one of the most important steps is to copy the the short-code i.e [swg_portfolio], and past the in your page or post whereever you want to show the portfolio, in my case i created a page “Portfolio” and past the short-code here.

Now update the page and see the Portfolio result.
