2. Open your WordPress admin panel click on Plugin menu at your left-hand side then click Add New option & then hit Upload, browse the zip file  & install it.

3 Now hit Activate Plugin option.

4. And click on Setting menu at your left-hand side & click Link Checker option, here you can check the status of broken links, not found links, and number of detected Urls, here you can also customize links checking time that often links should be checked.

5.  And in second tab “Look For Link In”  you can customize link searching option that where you want plugin to look for broken links like in Blogroll items, Comments Pages, Posts, Published items etc.

6. In third tab “Which Link To Check” you can set which type of link format should be monitored, basic link formats are HTML Links and HTML Images, you can go advance as per your need, in Exclusion list you can mention those links which you don’t want to be monitored for links checking.

7.  In fourth tab “Protocol & APIs”  you can change your data transfer protocols like from Basic HTTP to any APIs which are mentioned here to get links status checked.

8. Here in fifth tab “Advance”  link loading time limit can be customized like if a particular link takes more then 30 seconds it will be considered a broken link, by default its 30 seconds, in Link Monitor you decide whether it should be run or not while the dashboard is open or set it to run hourly, in Maximum Execution Time you can set for how long, at most, the link monitor may run each time before stopping.
